i want to know the best marketing strategy to use in running a fast food & bar?

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing

i have a small fast food centre with about 24 seating capacity, when i opened it newly 4 days ago there was rush but eversince then the population of customers has reduced drastically .what might be the cause & the best marketing strategy to use?

Sounds like your audience is very driven by energy. One strategy I have seen work is to go down to your local "cool" tv station and surprise their morning show by walking on with some of the food, while you dress in some crazy outfit.

Looking to start a scrapbooking business, part time and looking for marketing ideas?

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing

Looking to start a small business through friends and family at first, but then eventually looking to get bigger, any marketing ideas for people other than family and friends? Also what should I be charging? I’ve heard different things, should I charging per hour or per page? If so what are the going rates? Any help would be great!

i agree that you should check out your competition & you can do that easily online by looking up scrapper for hire websites…however, i disagree with starting cheap and then raising your rates, i think you’ll lose clientele that way…just be reasonable, charge according to what you think it is worth and don’t forget about the **time you put into the project**, the materials are easy to add up, but also think about all the effort it takes as well! if you start your business "officially" and get a Federal Tax ID#, you will find some great wholesale pricing on some ‘name brand’ websites for product (they usually require an Fed Tax ID)…as far as marketing…there are so many avenues:
~1~ LSS local scrapbook (or craft) stores
~2~ flyers, postcards, business cards, greeting cards
~3~ daycares, schools, community rec center, local learning center
~4~chamber of commerce, women to women business groups
~5~ online…blog, website, chat rooms
~6~ booth @ craft fair, baby fair, bridal fair
these are just some ideas, i have also considered going into business for myself with scrapbooking and one thing that was suggested to me was to solicit local businesses to do their Christmas Greeting Cards; make a portfolio of 5-10 for them to choose from priced @ $3 each (w/envelope) or a discount for a certain quantity…
good luck and i hope it works out for you…

What are the advantages of black hat SEO?

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in seo

Well, the basic principle of SEO is to generated visitors of one website, right? But it is so lamed to "click here" and "click that" using Social Bookmarking, is there a faster way to generate links using black hat SEO? i am so curious about it.

seo guy has a good point. My site is new and is on top 4 of google for the term "guaranteeing results from advertising" the site is http://www.netadvertisinggroup.com I used a long keyword phrase.

Use long keyword phrases for a new site and build them smaller as they go on. this is a 4 word phrase my next goal is the phrase "guaranteeing advertising results" wich is currently on the 4th page of google the next step will be two word phrases like ad agency

On "Black Hat" It works for a short time then leaves you in the gutter. Don’t use them because you can get banned. Also they tend not to create repeat business which is what make you money, bringing the consumer back.

Whats the links between management practice and the current thinking with regard to motivation theory?

How Much does an ipod video at a night market cost?

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing

I’m looking to get an ipod video, but there to damn expensive!!!!!!! I heard in Richmond BC, there is a night market and you can get it for 80 bucks. Is it true?

fuckk if i know! i don’t live in richmond! Go check it out yourself, but make sure the cops don’t see you, and make sure you get a receipt if you buy it. This way, if you get busted and they say it’s stolen, it doesn’t come back on you, it goes back on the dude who sold it to you.

What's the difference between social marketing and responsible marketing?

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing

Hi all.. i’m doing an assignment on marketing.I chose social marketing as my topic.. but now I’m confused whether there is any difference between the responsible marketing and social marketing.. please help me.. i had to submit the assignment tomorrow.. and please also tell me whether societal marketing and responsible marketing are synonymous..

Social marketing is the systematic application of marketing along with other concepts and techniques to achieve specific behavioral goals for a social good. Social marketing can be applied to promote, for example, merit goods, make the society avoid demerit goods and thus to promote that considers society’s well being as a whole. This may include asking people not to smoke in public areas, for example, ask them to use seat belts, prompting to make them follow speed limits.
Although ’social marketing’ is sometimes seen only as using standard commercial marketing practices to achieve non-commercial goals, this is an over-simplification.
The primary aim of ’social marketing’ is ’social good’, while in ‘commercial marketing’ the aim is primarily ‘financial’. This does not mean that commercial marketers can not contribute to achievement of social good.
Increasingly, social marketing is being described as having ‘two parents’ – a ’social parent’ = social sciences and social policy, and a ‘marketing parent’ = commercial and public sector marketing approaches.
Beginning in the 1970s, it has in the last decade matured into a much more integrative and inclusive discipline that draws on the full range of social sciences and social policy approaches as well as marketing.
Using the benefits and of doing ’social good’ to secure and maintain customer engagement. In ’social marketing’ the distinguishing feature is therefore its ‘primary’ focus on ’social good’, and it is not a secondary outcome. Not all public sector and not-for-profit marketing is social marketing.
Public sector bodies can use standard marketing approaches to improve the promotion of their relevant services and organizational aims, this can be very important, but should not be confused with ’social marketing’ where the focus in on achieving specific behavioural goals with specific audiences in relation to different topics relevant to social good (eg: health, sustainability, recycling, etc).
As the dividing lines are rarely clear it is important not to confuse social marketing with commercial marketing.
A commercial marketer selling a product may only seek to influence a buyer to make a product purchase.
Social marketers, dealing with goals such as reducing cigarette smoking or encouraging condom use, have more difficult goals: to make potentially difficult and long-term behavioral change in target populations.
It is sometimes felt that social marketing is restricted to a particular spectrum of client — the non-profit organization, the health services group, the government agency.
These often are the clients of social marketing agencies, but the goal of inducing social change is not restricted to governmental or non-profit charitable organizations; it may be argued that corporate public relations efforts such as funding for the arts are an example of social marketing.
Social marketing should not be confused with the Societal Marketing Concept which was a forerunner of sustainable marketing in integrating issues of social responsibility into commercial marketing strategies. In contrast to that, social marketing uses commercial marketing theories, tools and techniques to social issues.
Social marketing applies a “customer oriented” approach and uses the concepts and tools used by commercial marketers in pursuit of social goals like Anti-Smoking-Campaigns or fund raising for NGOs.Socially responsible marketing is a marketing philosophy that states a company should take into consideration what is in the best interest of society in the present and long term.
Socially responsible companies should aspire to produce desirable products. Desirable products provide immediate satisfaction and long term benefits. These products are sought by consumers for immediate gratification and also benefit society and consumers in the long term.
An example of socially responsible marketing would be the advertising of alcoholic drinks when there are no rules or regulations. A beer company that decided to use socially responsible marketing would avoid advertising its products to minors. The company would focus its advertising around late night television programming or adult magazines that minors are less likely to read.
Another example of socially responsible marketing is a mail order catalogue company using recycled paper to make its catalogues. Advertising this in the catalogue could help convince customers that the company is environmentally conscious and makes an effort to protect the environment. By appealing to this audience companies can differentiate themselves from competitors and potentially gain market share.

Dallas Pay Per Click – a Good Strategy in Internet Marketing

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing

Dallas internet marketing is concerned with advertising and selling goods and services by means of the Internet. The internet marketing usually consists of interactive advertising, pay per click advertising, e-mail marketing, search engine marketing, banner-adds, blog marketing and blogs, article marketing and so on. As a part of electronic commerce, Dallas internet marketing includes sales, customer service, public relations, and information management. Since access to the Internet is more and more widely available and the use of the Internet is growing rapidly, Dallas internet marketing has become very popular. Statistics say that out of all consumers with Internet access at home, over a third use it to purchase something.

The beginning of internet marketing goes back to the last decade of the twentieth century, and the first forms were no more than websites based on texts which offered information on several products. Over the years it has evolved to what Dallas internet marketing is today, that is providing more than just information products. The range of products and services that Dallas internet marketing offers now is very wide from advertising space to business models and software programs.

When speaking of internet marketing, we commonly refer to marketing strategies which are no longer used in mail, TV or radio alone, but are now applied to the business space of the internet as well. With internet marketing there are benefits as well as limitations.

One of the most important benefits that come with Dallas internet marketing the availability of information. Consumers learn everything they need to know about the products and are also given the possibility to purchase them around the clock. The money that would have gone on a powerful sales force can now be saved by companies which use Dallas internet marketing. The internet ha no boundaries of time or space, so if company functioned at a local level alone, you can now expand through Dallas internet marketing to a national marketplace or even an international one. Dallas internet marketing can be significantly less expensive than other media, making it possible for small players to enter this realm as well. Not to mention that the efficiency of the internet marketing is easier to follow than the one of traditional media, showing advertisers what is accountable and what is not. Compared to TV or radio marketing, Dallas internet marketing is growing rapidly, like all the other segments in the Internet field, while becoming increasingly popular among consumers and small businesses.

One of the aspects that Dallas internet marketing focuses on is pay per click advertising. Dallas pay per click is an advertising technique which is used mostly on search engines, websites and advertising networks. Dallas pay per click advertising functions in the same way that all the other similar advertising techniques do. Some keywords are bid on and sponsored ads or sponsored links are created. When the user clicks on the ad that he/she sees next to or above the search results on a page that’s when the advertiser pays. Dallas pay per click advertising is that simple.

SEO School Bus First Exam: Who Needs Links Anyway?

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in seo

A little story to share with you for the Seo School Bus. I have a friend with a website that posts 5 days a week. I was reading his most recent post, when I wanted to check how many links he had coming into his website (it showed around 2400). I quickly sent him a text saying, “You have 2400 incoming links for your site”. He said, “How did you see that?”. Which brings me to a SEO tool that you should be using. SEO for Firefox, while a great resource for education, can help you learn SEO as you’re using it. If you’re not using FireFox this might give you a reason. I won’t than go into to much depth of how this tool works, (there are plenty out there) my suggestion would be to play around with it first.

First thing to look at will be the options of the tool where you will find what kind of info you want to know about a website. You can set any of the options to automatic, hide, or on-demand. You may hide one that I may have automatic, and you might ask: “Which ones do you have hidden, automatic or on-demand?” I don’t want to push my bias onto you, because then you won’t do any research on your own to understand why it’s important.

I’m now in the habit of right clicking on every website and using my “look up this page” option. I could spend hours looking at where websites are getting their links from, from looking at the press releases that have been written to directories they have submitted to. If you can get why they have that link and how its helping them you will be able to convert this into learning SEO techniques for your site. We will revisit this tool often and touch on various aspects of what the information can do for the Seo School Bus students.

The Seo School Bus has and will have plenty of ways to learn SEO, but just like school you will have to do some homework: setting SEO goals. Feel free to e-mail me your goals and I will give you some of my recommendations.
