Where Would You Be Without Marketing?
Posted on 20. Sep, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing
Marketing is a broad business subject that encompasses a range
of activities including advertising, public relations, sales,
and promotions. Generally, you will find that people often
confuse sales with marketing, when in fact the two are quite
different. Marketing is all about getting a product or service
into the market, promoting it, influencing behavior, and
encouraging sales turnover. Sales, quite distinctly, is the
actual transaction of getting a product or service into the
hands of your customers.
With so many messages being propelled towards all of us these
days, it is more critical than ever for a company to get their
product noticed. This means marketers have evolved to being
creative. Marketing is not an exact science and managers who
know little about it are afraid that the marketing staff within
their firm is often wasting valuable money. The truth is that
marketing is an investment that always pays off; it just may
come back in ways that are not necessarily measurable. So even
though one campaign may bring moderate results, another will
bring astonishing profits.
Companies not committed to a marketing program are at a
disadvantage in today’s business world. Those who are still
focused on their products, rather than their customers, are
doomed to experience lots of failure. Knowing what your clients’
expectations are and working to exceed them is the key to
ultimate business success.
There are millions of marketing ideas just waiting to be
spawned. If you need to generate ideas, start by brainstorming
on paper or on the computer. One small idea usually leads to
many other ideas. Alternatively you can do a web search for the
specific marketing ideas you are looking to use in your
marketing program. If you lack the talent or time to be creative
and generate your own marketing ideas, there are marketing
agencies that can assist you to build a complete marketing
program.
When you are planning your marketing program, keep in mind the
hurdles you may face, and think of ways to eliminate them. Some
things that may hold you back from implementing your marketing
ideas include budget shortfalls, lack of skill, or being
understaffed. Think of ways around this as you plan your
strategy for the future.
Finally, think about the specific actions that you can use in a
marketing campaign. Your marketing actions might include
advertising, sponsorship, branding, and public relations. Or,
you may want to stick with direct mail, product packaging and
creating promotional materials such as pens or caps. Whatever
method you choose, make sure you are pointing excited energy in
that direction. It will be reflected in the results!

Internet Marketing Online: The Email Marketing Strategy
Posted on 18. Sep, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing
Email marketing has its many benefits. This internet marketing strategy is not really emphasized on as many internet marketers are more focused on traffic generation and website optimization. What they do not realise is how powerful emails are. This particular brand of power online can give you miracles in ways you won’t imagine.
Auto-responder
To give out emails, you will first need an auto-responder. An auto-responder is a service that you can use to build up on your list and send out emails to them in a specific time. For example, when someone subscribes to your list, he/she will automatically receive a thank you email from you and receives the first newsletter. This service is useful because it allows you to type in all your emails and send them out in sequence, e.g. You have eight emails you’d like to give your customers and you can organize them into being sent out as one per week. There are good auto-responder services out there that businesses use such as Aweber and GetResponse.
Opt-In List
When you want visitors to part with their name and email addresses to you, you have to prove that you are worthy to receive them. Prove to them that you are qualified in giving them what they are looking for. Let’s say there’s a fisherman who comes into your fishing website in order to learn the techniques of how to fish better. You can provide him wih an e-book on how to fish better if he opts into your list.
Managing Great Content
Make your customers look forward to your emails. Give them free gifts, techniques and advice that makes them inspired to learn more from you and trust you with their money. Referring back to the previous example of giving a free fishing book to your customer, you can wait for about a week, and after he has liked your book and trusted your judgement, you can advertise to him a certain product that can help him fish better. Do focus on customer behaviour. Customers very seldom buy products when they first get to know about it. They need a certain amount of time to think it through. All the more, you can emphasize on the product in your next email if they haven’t bought it.
Email Format
The title or subject of the email should be something that catches the reader’s attention. It is proven that names work very well in making people read the emails sent to them. For example, “Ben! Look what I’ve got for Christmas!”
As for the body copy, the research team at www.MarketingExperiments.com did an email campaign that increased sales by 49%. Some of the key points they featured in the body copy was:
-making sure the valuable product benefits the customer
-avoid a sales hype by using a “personal tone” in your emails
-provide customer service by catering to their needs
-providing incentives
Ezine Publishing
Another thing you can do is an ezine. An ezine is an electronic magazine or an electronic newsletter. It is given to visitors or customers through emails. Ezine publishing can come useful in advertising and promoting new products or to give out information or advice as to what customers are looking for. The awesome research team of www.MarketingExperiments.com also did an experiment on Ezine advertisement testing have proven that ezine advertising has the potential to produce strong returns on investment. Companies do not really emphasized on them because of the lack of time or expertise to optimize these campaigns. These companies are making a big mistake because they do not realize the full extent of how much more money they could make online.
In every ezine you’d like to distribute out to your list, simply generate content in it and place the same advertisement. To know how many click throughs your ad is getting you can use a script that can count the number of times your ad is clicked. It would be great if your ad was a strong one with a good headline, preferably done with copywriting skills. Format the ad with good dimensions and make sure it stands out. Test out the various positions of where you put your ad and decide on a position which is proven to get more click throughs.
In Internet marketing online, in order to really understand the email marketing strategy you have to implement them. Understanding them and knowing how to do it is just the first step. Once you have practised and tried them, you’ll see greater results in sales.

3 Reasons To Use Social Networks For Internet Marketing
Posted on 18. Sep, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing
People who are involved in e-commerce understand how marketing can be very expensive. In order to have sales, marketing your products or services to people who are in need of them is vital. Social networks present a viable internet marketing alternative or supplement. Here are 3 reasons why you should integrate social networks into your marketing plan online.
Social networking websites are known to attract a lot of people. It has been said that the top 10 Social Networking websites receive about 45 percent of the total number of active internet users. This really is a proof of how powerful these websites can be.
One very good example of a prominent and extremely prolific social network is MySpace. Websites such as MySpace give access to people of various interests. For social networking website owners, the main benefit comes from the content that social network users produce and lodge in their site. The following are the three benefits to business owners and internet marketers.
Number 1: They give you a large market to sell to
If you are apprehensive about integrating social networking in your overall marketing plan, recall what the Fox Interactive President said during the Web 2.0 Summit. He noted that MySpace has managed to acquire acquiring a user base whose number is equivalent to the population of Buffalo. Imagine how large this is. This represents millions of users from around the world that you can sell and market to.
Using social networks for marketing purposes is very good strategy. Millions of users are attracted to these networks. Entice these visitors to visit your website and you’ve got it made. Getting this many visitors through other marketing means can really cost a lot, but if you use social networks you can get it for free.
Social networks like MySpace open the gates for e-commerce businessmen; these sites provide you a place where you can market your products.
Number 2: They make targeted marketing easier
Social networks consist of several sub-networks to which one can gain access. These sub-networks have pre-filtered members and users so a business owner can easily pick and choose groups which he is targeting or whose members may be interested in what he has to offer.
It is amazing how deep a social network can go. It is truly a very fertile ground for one’s targeted internet marketing efforts. All you’ll have to do is browse over the groups and find people who may be interested in your products and services.
Number 3: They have enormous potential for boosting site traffic and sales
Though some webmasters still consider social networks as a fad meant only for teenagers, most businessmen have realized the social networks’ potential for boosting site traffic and sales. Online and real-world entrepreneurs alike are flocking to social networks. Affiliate marketers are not to be outwitted, and they have begun promoting the products of their affiliate partners in social networking sites. Fad or not, creative and strategic use of social networks can really boost a business’ earnings.
— Just Remember —
Given the wonderful opportunity that social networking sites offer, one can easily get carried away in his marketing campaign. You must remember, however, that as with any marketing method, tact, subtlety and strategy are all required. This is especially true for social networking sites since they are truly not for marketing purposes. Thus, you must never be too obvious about your efforts to sell. You should always couch your marketing pitch in a manner both personal and engaging.

Affordable Marketing for your Small Business
Posted on 18. Sep, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing
When I started my business four years ago, I had enthusiasm and passion for my work, but a very small marketing budget. I also lacked a marketing plan for getting my message out to my target customer. I have learned a lot along the way and hope to impart what I’ve learned onto you. Whether you have just started your small business or are in your tenth year, there are some simple, affordable ways to keep your name in front of prospective clients and customers.
News releases. I recommend to clients that they distribute three to four news releases (better known as press releases) each year. This gives clients an opportunity to shout news out to the world about new products, services or partnerships; key hires; industry awards and certifications; new locations; events and more. News releases should be distributed on a timely basis to local media, trade publications and online. In addition, a well-crafted news release makes a great direct mail piece or a nice addition to your sales or media kit. Depending on whether you do the writing and distribution yourself, costs are variable. Distribution costs will also vary. Distribution via e-mail or fax is virtually nothing. Online distribution varies. Many news distribution sites are free, but I like to include a contribution to PRWeb.com to guarantee inclusion in popular search engines.
Online forums and networking sites. As social media continues to grow, relevant online forums and networking groups (Linked In, Connexions, Konnects) are a great way to interact with professionals and prospective clients. By actively participating in Q&A forums, you expand your reach. To take full advantage of these free opportunities, make sure you complete your online bio; include your contact information and web address; and participate regularly. Such participation can also help to position you as an industry expert.
Referral program. About half of my business comes from client referrals. To let clients know I appreciate their referrals and to encourage them to keep sending them to me, I include my referral program in my business agreement. In exchange for a prospect who does business with me, I offer the referring client two complimentary hours of writing, editing or marketing services. Aside from my time, this costs me nothing and benefits both my clients and my business.
Newsletter. There are so many affordable e-mail services these days that sending an e-newsletter to prospective clients is a no brainer. The service I use costs about $5 per month, and it not only maintains my e-mail lists for me, but it provides templates and tracks reader stats. Clients can opt-in, unsubscribe or change their e-mail address at any time. This is an inexpensive way to stay in touch with clients and prospects.
The next question, of course, is how and when to implement the above. I recommend pulling out your calendar and scheduling time for marketing and business development. Schedule a news release for each quarter, or at least three times a year. For online forums and networking sites, set aside a certain amount of time each week to participate. A referral program requires a little bit of set-up time and a notification to clients of the new program, but aside from that, it doesn’t require much time. For your newsletter, I recommend sending them to clients at regular intervals. If you can’t manage biweekly or monthly, at least put together a newsletter on a quarterly basis. Save ideas in a folder so they are all in one spot when you’re ready to get started.
Try these ideas for at least six months and watch your business grow and, if you find that one method works better than the others, focus your efforts in that category. Enjoy your new affordable marketing solutions!

What are good cheap marketing ideas for a new fashion business?
Posted on 17. Sep, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing
I am hoping to open a fashion store and need great ways to market other than myspace and facebook (which I feel don’t work that great). I’d love any creative/useful/affordable ideas!
Thanks!
Hi J,
I wouldn’t say that myspace or facebook don’t work as way to market you business just yet. The way I see it, they are only great ways to deliver a message to your customer but you still have to think about:
* Your customer (or market target)
– Who they are (gender, age, average income, region, things they like or don’t like,…)
– Where they go (for instance, which website they visit)
– Which keywords they use when searching for your product
Your product
– Benefits
– Features
– Potential purchasing experience
The message
- How to write it
* Emphasizing benefits? Features?
* Call for action
- How to deliver the message
* Website
* Blog
* Newsletter
* News papers
* E-mail marketing…
Conversions/objectives
- What do you expect from this campaign
* More people in you site
* More sales
* More newsletter subscriptions…
If you decide to stay online after addressing the points above, you might need:
- Review your site to see if it is ready for the expected conversions
- Start a blog
- Use the social media tools you’ve been using (and others) to interact more with people and to make them aware of your blog and site.
- Be active in relevant forums.
As you see, it’s not that the tools you’ve been using don’t work. They are just a part of everything you could be doing in online marketing. They may be working just as fine as they can. You just couldn’t see because you may not be ready (yet) to measure the results or to take advantage from them as communication channels.
I hope it helps.
What is the best value HD video camera on the market?
Posted on 17. Sep, 2009 by admin in chiropractic marketing
I’m considering buying an HD video camera for home movies. I need to know which one will give the biggest bang for the least amount of money possible. I just don’t know enough about them to make a good decision.
You can learn more about the HD format here:
http://www.camcorderinfo.com/d/Reviews&level_b=Camcorder&level_c=HD.htm
The best value currently is probably the Canon HV20:
http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/Canon-HV20-Camcorder-Review.htm
it has excellent video quality – you can probably get it for less than $700 if you shop around.
Canon also recently announced the HV30:
http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/Move-Over-HV20-Here-Comes-the-Canon-HV30-34020.htm
so you can expect the price of the HV20 to be even lower when the HV30 is available for sale.

Which is the first company or organization which has taken the initiative to deploy Direct marketing.
the salvation army took it into the streets a long time before columbia record club or american express but with the invent of the Guttenberg printing press England began seeing ads around the latter 1500’s. during the late1600’s in fact, William Penn put out postal cards for people to take an interest in moving to Pennsylvania here in America. But I am sticking with the Salvation Army ringing thier bells asking for change since the great depression.
